This guide will help you to correctly fill in the form for submitting an entry. In general, the following steps are required for publishing a bibliographic entry:
- Choose a publication type
- Enter at least the required fields (the more fields the better)
- Choose a category and optionally apply tags
- Submit
Below you will find more detailled information about specific fields. You can click on a title to reveal its content.
General tips
Strictly speaking, you only need to fill in the required fields (marked with an asterisk), most importantly
title,
year,
author, and
category. However, the more information you provide, the more accurate the entry becomes to facilitate future use.
In order to avoid dublicates, please make sure that your entry is not already in the database before you submit.
What to publish
Currently, Bibliographia Kurdica only features works in the fields of linguistics or related language studies. As such, we are only accepting entries that deal with linguistic research, learning material, dictionaries, translation studies, or any other directly relevant topics within these fields.
Please refrain from sending in works form other academic fields, even if related to Kurdish studies. In the long run, the database will be able to publish in other scientific areas as well. If you are unsure whether a work will fit in, you can always contact us.
